Very sorry to find that Rosie has passed away. She had a long life and I hope enjoyed her large family.
In the late 1970s, early 1980s I had the pleasure of buying at least two horses from Rosie. It was always a pleasure dealing with her and the horses were exactly as she described them and exactly what I wanted. The TB mare BobALou was a beautiful bay filly who I fox hunted and showed over fences. I bred a foal out of her, Sodalime, who I raced. He won over a dozen races including the Beef State Stakes at ArkSarBen May 3, 1986. I'm sure she'll rest in peace.

Sadly, just learned of Rosie's passing after not hearing from her this past Christmas. I am a cousin and lived with Rosie, my "Aunt Mary" and Uncle Woody" from the age of about 3 to 7. Rosie was never jealous of sharing her Mom or Dad and welcomed me into their home. The Arbuckles provided me a life time of love of dogs. I have welcomed numerous dogs into my family that were introduced to me by Rosie as unwanted or what they now call "resue" dogs. Rest in Peace Rosie, I know that a great number of doggies greeted you up on :Rainbow Bridge." Love and Respect from your cousin in Texas.

One of the finest horsewomen I was lucky to have known in my life. The Arabian, Indiana Saddle Horse Association and 4-H horse community has lost a legend.
Will miss seeing Rosie in her truck with a truckload of kids around New Palestine.

Rosie was a very special lady. She shared her love and knowledge of horses with everyone. Many children now share that love of horses and know how to ride thanks to her. Rosie had a profound effect on my life and I will miss her. There is a void now that no one else can fill. A memory that I will always have is of her pulling up in her truck and so many kids poured out of its doors that it reminded me of a clown car at the circus. The kids loved her dearly.

I have so many memories with Rosie. My heart aches to hear of her passing. Rosie and I would sit at her house and talk for hours of stories. My favorite story of hers was about a match box and ants. I will greatly miss her. Her family is in my prayers. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Rosie was truly one of a kind! I spent many hours with her during the time I boarded my horses at Brookwood. She brought a lot of people together with a mutual love and passion for our four legged friends.

I wish love and comfort to Rosie's family and friends! She will be missed!

I am sorry and deeply saddened by the news of our lifelong friend, Rosie Faut, having died Friday. She was a dear friend of my parents before my folks married nearly 58 years ago. When I was 11 or so years old, Rosie and Clyde loaded up several rigs full of excellent quality horses, along with perhaps a dozen or more of us enthusiastic youngsters, and hauled to a huge Appaloosa horse show in Columbus, Ohio. I don't remember the name of the mare I showed there, but I do recall the abundance of fun we had together, which resulted in memories worthy of lasting a lifetime. Rosie provided horse-related opportunities to countless individuals over the decades while she concurrently bred, raised, trained, showed, and sold champion Appaloosas, Arabians, and Quarter Horses too numerous to list. Valuable experiences occurred at her Brookwood Farm near New Palestine. Rosie was a treasured friend who will be sorely missed across the equine community. I am grateful for the privilege to have known her.

I was saddened to hear of Rosie's passing. I will miss her friendly waves, and short rode side chats as she traveled down the road. She touched a lot of lives through her love of horses. Blessings of peace as your family heals from her passing.

Rosie was a special lady. Taking care of her horses and her many kids. My daughter, Jessica, learned to love her horses starting out at Rosie with her riding lessons on Sitsaffe. She had lots of good memories at the barn and with Rosie. Happy trails Rosie.

I met Rosie in 1981 and worked for her cleaning stalls. I loved her Arabians and had two of my own. I admired how good she was with children, working with them and teaching them to show. I always enjoyed the shows she put on. She will probably be putting on shows in Heaven. You will be missed Rosie! You were a very special lady.

Rosie was a great lady. She gave lots of kids the opportunity to show horses. I know lots of them remember her fondly.
My greatest moment was when she let me ride Wayne Newton's gray stallion. She use to stay at his place in the winter. Saw great pictures of the barn there. Rosie was a great caretaker of her animals.
Happy Trails Rosie
