Wendy, Wade, and Brock
I just read about your mom. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. Rick and I enjoyed your mom and dad so much! We got to be with them when all of you guys arrived. How thrilled they were with you all. We had such fun playing bridge.... having m&m's and dip each Saturday night. Shopping and laughing , we had such a good time. We are left with so many great memories and not a single bad one. If there is anything we can do for you let us know. We will be thinking about you.

My mother, Maxine McDowell, baby sat the children and loved each of you. I have such fond memories of your family. Brock was the ring bearer in my wedding. Pat was so good to my mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Working with Pat was a joy. She was like a second mom to a young teacher. I could call her at any hour to bounce ideas off of because she was up doing laundry or such late into the night. My favorite thing was to hear some of her "epistles" to a company she was unhappy with, or the state for misspelling Veale on the sign on the highway. When they said it would be a while before they got around to fixing it, she told them she would take her can of paint and do it herself. They changed the sign out pretty fast. She was one of a kind, and I'll miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

To a great and super fun teacher! I will never forget her great colors of lipstick, and her love for teaching. Thanks to Mrs. W for loving her students.
