Monnie Galbraith Atwell, 80, passed away November 16, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson, IN. He was born on October 18, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Wilbur C. Atwell and Addie M. (Cubert) Atwell.
Survivors include, daughters, Karen S., Debra A. (James A.) and Denise M.; sons, Terry L., Monnie G. Jr.(Denise E.), Jeffrey A. and Robert S. Atwell; brothers, Art, Ronald, Billy and Larry Atwell. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Atwell, parents; sisters, Lois and Ina Kay; and brothers, Bob and Kenny.
Services will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock Chapel, 2310 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46222. Officiating the service will be Rev. Danny Thomas.
The Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
Burial will be at Floral Park Cemetery.
