My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. Marcia will always hold a special place in my heart. I feel privileged to care for Marcia during her hospitalizations and get to know her personally. She had a true light that she let shine. She will be missed.

Marcia and I met in the 4th grade and remained friends until her death. We loved to go shopping and have lunch together, we also went to BelTerra every spring or sometimes we just sat on her porch and talked, Marcia was quite a talker. She was by my side through the loss of my mother, grandson and when I found out my daughter had a very rare cancer. I miss her laugh and her telling me "we may be old Twanette but we don't have to dress old, let's go find something younger". She was always a good friend to me, I love her and I miss her. There was a third person in our group, Jennet Murrain, who we met in high school and remained friends, Jennet is now in a nursing home and is suffering from Alzheimer's. I know Jennet loved Marcia too and on behalf of Jennet I want to say again how much Marcia is being missed and always will be. I want to thank Ronnie Dugger for taking such good care of my best friend and being such a good companion to her for so many years. I don't think I've ever seen two people better suited for each other. I love you Marcia, if there is a heaven, I'm sure that's where you are. Twanette and Jennet
