Irvin B. Durbin, 81, passed away on October 7, 2016 in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on July 13, 1935 in Brooklyn, Indiana to Elmer Durbin and Anna Irene (Duhamell) Drake.
Survivors include sons; Barry (Paula) Durbin, Brian (Patty) Durbin, Mark (Denise) Durbin and Russ Durbin, daughter; Brenda (Blaine) Smith, sister; Beryl Drake, brother; Gene Drake, 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. Irvin was preceded in death by his wife; Versie Glyn (Shrum) Durbin, grandson; Adam Durbin.
Irvin retired from Ford Motor Company as a Tool & Die Maker. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local 1111. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, loved his garden and his dogs.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 6th beginning 2:00pm to 6:00pm, at UAW 933, 2320 South Tibbs Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46241. Please come to eat and share your stories about our father. Thanks so much, Brenda Smith, Irvin's favorite daughter (only)
