When I was a teenager (20 yrs ago) I, and several of my current friends, worked with Don at the full service Kocolene gas station on US40 in Greenfield. It's no longer there, it's now the current location of Strikeforce Lanes. At the time Don lived in the little house in Philadelphia. I want everyone to know what a positive impact he had on myself and my friends/co-workers at the time. We thought he was a very cool, funny, thoughtful, and reliable guy. I could spend hours telling stories. He taught me the value of hard work while also how to enjoy life at the same time. His infectious smile and happy demeanor is what I will always remember.
Tonight my friends and I will raise a glass to you old friend. May you rest in peace Don.
