So sorry for your loss. I saw Dave at our Shelby County Luncheon here in Punta Gorda, Fl a year ago. It had been so many years since I had seen him as we were just kids back then. Loved coming to the farm where they rented my Grandmother's farm. I know he will be missed and we will miss seeing him at our luncheons.. God bless.

To the family of "Dick" Wheatley,
I am a second cousin of Dick, (my family always referred to him as Dick) my Mother, Evelyn Larrison Valentine, a first cousin loved the "Wheatley Boys" especially Dick. I remember Dick helping my Dad (James) on our farm and always happy to help out. Being an only child, the Wheatley reunions were always special. What an extended family! Wonderful memories! Through the years the reunions waned and the closeness of the families drifted apart. The love is ever present and I send my love, thoughts and prayers to the Wheatley family… only wish we were "closer". God bless Dick, Misty and the Wheatley family.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Dave. He was a good friend to my dad. As I think of those I have lost it reminds me of the skills, traits, values, and beliefs that they helped to shape--and as I use them---I remember..... Remember the good times Scott!

Having recently learned of the loss of your loved one , I extend my deepest sympathy to you. During this difficult time I wanted to share the hope found in the Bible, the hope of the resurrection. Jesus stated at John 5:28,29 "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his [Jesus] voice and come out." And at Revelation 21:3,4 it states that there will be a time when "death will be no more." Sorry for your loss.
