Wayne Francis Smoot, 77, New Palestine, IN passed away on October 10, 2023 in New Palestine, IN. He was born on May 2, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN.

Survivors include daughter, Nikki (Jamie) (Smoot) Leslie; brother, Dennis (Cindy) A. Smoot; grandchild, Logan W. Smoot; ex-wife, Rebecca Smoot; several nieces, nephews & cousins.

Preceded in death by parents, Arthur & Eileen (Swan) Smoot; brothers, Robert (Bob) S. Cavin, Arthur (Reece) M. Smoot & Steven (Mike) M. Smoot; sisters, Arthena (Tina) (Bill) Presslor & Carol Thomas.

Wayne served in US Army as a cook for two years. He loved Corvettes, golf and was very patriotic.
