Steven D. Sandlin

Steven David Sandlin of New Palestine passed away on October 31, 2023 at the age of 27. Steven was born on September 10, 1996 in Indianapolis.

He is survived by his parents Steve and Karen Sandlin; siblings Stephanie Murello, Dustin Sandlin, and Jessica Sandlin; grandfather David Lewellyn; uncles Kevin Lewellyn and Joseph Sandlin; nephew William; and niece Kyiah. He was preceded in death by his uncle Lester Sandlin; and his grandparents Earlene Lewellyn, Pamela Sandlin, and Lester Sandlin.

Steven loved life and was always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed riding ATVs, attending Colts games, watching movies, playing Xbox, and going to Casinos. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He worked as a security technician installing alarms and cameras. He often spoke of the satisfaction of helping people by installing medical pendants in case of an emergency with homeowners’ security systems.

Service will be Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 4:00PM at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 W US HWY 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130 with visitation from 1:00PM unitl the time of the service.
