Ronald "Ron" Ordelheide, 65, of New Palestine, IN, wonderful husband and father, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2021 in Indianapolis.
Ron was born August 18, 1955 in Burbank, California to Roland and Violet Ordelheide. He graduated from high school and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force for 5 years working in crypto communication. He was married February 7, 1981 to Sandra MacDonald Ordelheide. Together they raised two sons, Robert and Jacob.
Ron loved to be involved with community organizations and was great resource to others who met him. Ron was active with the New Palestine Chamber of Commerce, on the Sugar Creek Fire Department merit board and in the past was involved with New Palestine Lion's Club and Indian Guides with YMCA in Diamond Bar, California. You would always see him stopping to talk with someone he knew. The one thing he is remembered for most was his smile.
