Leroy Skaggs

Leroy Skaggs, 87, of Whiteland, IN passed away December 18, 2020. He was born on December 1, 1933 in Bonnieville, Kentucky, a son of the late Mamie (Hatfield) Skaggs Mathena and Earl Skaggs. Survivors include his wife, Rosie (Robards) Skaggs; son, Doug Skaggs; daughter, Pamela (Kenny) Shanafelt; sister, Lillian (Gene) Rogers of Greenwood; brothers, Bob (Nancy) Skaggs of Tennessee, Rusty (Brenda) Skaggs of Bargersville; grandhildren, JD Skaggs, Travis Skaggs. He was preceded in death by Charles Skaggs, Jim Skaggs, Houston Skaggs, Thelma Beadle, and Ruth Parkhurst.

Leroy served in the United States Marines. He was retired from Western Electric (Lucent).

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Gracepoint Church, 330 W. Whiteland Road, New Whiteland, IN 46184. A Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Care Ministry Pastor, Zachary Scellato.
