Lawrence “Larry” Marlin McKeigue, 86, of Mooresville, IN passed away June 3, 2020. He was born October 23, 1933 in Chicago, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marlin and Marjorie McKenna McKeigue; wife, Lorraine Dietz McKeigue; sister, Patricia McGriffin; and daughter, Cathy (Dave) Kilgore.
He is survived by two daughters, Lyn (Gary) Gram of Greencastle, Peggy (John) Wood of Plainfield and one son, Larry McKeigue of Terre Haute; grandchildren, James Gram of Greencastle, Dee (Daniel) Norman of Greencastle, Kay (Zach) Couse of Mooresville, Jennifer (Pat) Girton of Reelsville, David (Chasity) Wood of Greencastle, Jarrod (Jill) Everhart of Brazil, William “BeeJay” (Elsa) Jenkins of Clay City, April Nees of Metter, Georgia, Erin (Shawn) Bignel, Megan McKeigue (Lawrence Guydon), and Ian McKeigue of Terre Haute; several great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. He will also be missed by his loving companion Geraldine Mynatt and her family of Mooresville.
He received the National Defense Medal while serving in the U.S. Navy, was a retired member of the Teamsters Union, member and past Trustee of the Greencastle Eagles, past member of the Moose, American Legion and VWF. He enjoyed dancing, gardening, playing pinochle, and was a model train enthusiast.
There will be a private celebration of life.
