James Douglas Caldwell, 21, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 1, 2020. He was born on June 12, 1998 to Spencer III and Kathy Jean (Perry) Caldwell in Indianapolis. He worked at the Waffle House in Avon, IN and was recently promoted to manager. He enjoyed working and liked playing X-box. Quotes from his family about James, "Hey Grandma or Dad."

(Marcia) Caldwell, Jr., Donald (Judy) Perry, aunts; Joyce Perry, Rebekah (Arron) Waters, Deanna (Kevin) Stalder, Julie (Billy) Murphy, Jackie Young, uncles; Reggie (Julie) Harvey, Jamie Perry, Robert Perry, David (Sheloris) Caldwell, Christopher (Tamika) Caldwell, Eugene (Paula) Young, Paul (Becky) Young, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Caldwell, nephew; Floyd Thomas Webster.
Services will be on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 12:00pm at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock Chapel, 2310 W. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222 with Pastor Rodreguez Footman Officiating. The Visitation will be from 10:00am until time of service at the mortuary.
Burial will follow in Sutherland Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN. Funeral Pallbearers will include Desean Caldwell, Timothy Beach, Keith and Kyle Harvey.
