Jacob D. Pence, 23, of Westfield, IN passed away February 27, 2021 in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on September 19, 1997. Survivors include his son, Sonny Leroy Pence; daughter, Harley Marie Pence; Fiance, Samantha Fawcett; parents, Jerry L. and Gloria S. Pence; sisters, Samantha Cisneros (son Elijah Cisneros), Danielle (Adam) Sowers (children Lilly Sowers and Noah Sowers), Kameo Pence; brothers, Patrick Kneisel, Kole Herrington, Bradley Sichting, Carter Mutchmore, Nate Reyer, Ty Pierson, Todd Traina, Ashley Galloway, Blake Dankert, Samuel Hammonds, Jon Armstrong; grandparents, LuAnn (Don) Simpson, Dennis Pence, Jerry Hottseller; great grandparents, Merideth and Donna Pence, Tine and Virginia Martin; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Lawrence "Sonny" Dollens; grandmother, Marilyn Dollens; aunt, Carla Williams; great grandmother, Wilma Martin.
Jacob worked at Wesley's Landscaping. He received many awards during his high school years. He led the Westfield football team and Westfield weightlifting team to State. He also received awards in Football and Wrestling at Richland High School in Texas. Jacob enjoyed fishing, guns, cars, hunting, camping and also being around his children. Jacob was also a donor.. He was said to be quote, "The World's Proudest and Greatest Dad".
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Jacob Pence Memorial Fund, 2279 W 600 N, Kokomo, IN 46901. Envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock Chapel, 2310 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46222. Visitation will from 1:00 pm until the time of service at the mortuary. Officiating will be Pastor David Gibson.
Masks are required for the visitation and during the service due to COVID-19 restrictions.
