Harold “Hal” Eugene Doty, 86, of Fountaintown, IN passed away August 14, 2020. He was born in Terre Haute, IN, a son of the late Mabel F. (Ball) and Lawrence H. Doty. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis J. Doty; son, Larry (Kim) Doty; daughter, Robin (Tom) Bowden; sisters, Carole Sue Doty Steele, Linda K. (Wayne) Williams; brother, Howard W. (Carole A.) Doty; grandchildren, Heather Doty, Zachary Doty; Michael Bowden, Danielle Bowden, McKayla Doty; great grandchildren, Caydan DeLong, Lane Doty; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents, William E. and Myrtle Doty.

Hal graduated from Arsenal Tech High School. He served in the United States Army from 1954-1956.

He enjoyed horses, bowling and spending time with his family.
