Glenn Lee Pride , 75, of Dallas, TX, originally from Indianapolis, IN, passed away on August 20, 2016 in Dallas, Texas.
A graveside ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 3 at 2:30 p.m. at Washington Memorial Park East Cemetery, 10612 East Washington Street, Indianapolis. Immediately following the ceremony, Glenn’s sister, Jean Boardman (along with sister June Hamblen), will be hosting a reception for family and friends at her house.
An Indiana native, Dr. Pride was born in Indianapolis, IN to Glenn Bernard Pride and Dorothy June Pride on December 3, 1940. He attended Thomas Carr Howe High School in Indianapolis, Wabash College in Crawfordsville, and Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. After advanced fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, he practiced throughout the United States over a long career until his retirement in 2006. He served his country in the Army National Guard in the states of Indiana, New York and Wisconsin.
Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Dorothy.
Glenn is survived by his ex-wife, Mary Jo, his children and their spouses Lee and Tammy Pride and Georges and Amy Decombaz, his sisters June Hamblen and Jean Boardman, his brother Ron Dean Pride, and three grandchildren David and Rachel Pride and Isabelle Decombaz.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart/American Stroke Association.
