Donald Anderson Obituary

Donald (Andy) Earl Anderson, 65 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on April 10, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. His day has come that he gets to see heaven that we all have waited so long to see. He battled Cancer for 8 years. He never complained, never let it slow him down. In 1984 he started Andy’s Tree Service where his customers and friends knew him as Andy.

Donald is survived by his companion Carol Haskett, Mother: Lois Joan Anderson, Daughters: Elizabeth (Steven) Lenning, Erin (Tony) Lowe, Grandchildren: Bransen, Steven (Mehgan), Khaymen (Betsy), Dominick, and Logan, Great Grand Children: Steven III, Siblings: Jim (Donna) Anderson, John (Lisa) Anderson, Daniel Anderson, Kathryn Weisman, Ladonna (Andrew) Brown, Special friends: Edward (Gina) Gaddis- Gabby and Emma, Robyn Taylor- Elizabeth, Elisha, Albert and George, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and the tree service community.

He is preceded in death by his father Earl Anderson, Aunt and Uncle Hattie and David Davis, and Grandparents.

He loved Jesus and his Girls. He was a member of Calvary Tabernacle Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. His hobbies were being an usher at church, looking at trucks, Bucket Trucks, Stump Grinders, Saws, or anything else that would help him cut down trees or take out stumps. He kept his sense of humor till his final days. He loved to talk on the phone to his high school friends, and his tree service buddies. He will be greatly missed by so many, but especially by his daughters Elizabeth, and Erin.

John 14:1-3

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”

A special thanks to Kristen with Premier Hospice for taking such great care of him. Thank you to Bell Mortuary for taking care of the end of life affairs. The celebration of life ceremony will be hosted still to be determined. He will be buried in Washington Park East Cemetery.
