Cletis "John" Inman, 90, of New Palestine, IN passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 in Morristown, IN. He was born on February 15, 1931 in Garrett, KY to the late William and Lillie (Hicks) Inman. He was a retired long haul truck driver, a veteran from the Korean War where he was awarded the purple heart. A member of Burge Terrace Baptist Church, Indianapolis, IN. He belonged to the American Legion and Teamster Local 135.
Survivors include wife, Joanne (Messer) Inman; son, Michael (Janice Halliburton) Inman; daughter, Susie (Rick) Cain; grandsons, Damian Inman and Clayton Cain; granddaughter, Lillie Cain.
Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 1:00pm at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 West US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130 with Pastor Paul Newkirk Officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00am until time of service at the mortuary.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery, New Palestine, IN.
Military Honors by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard.
