Survivors include sons, Randall Banister, Brandon Keck, and Alan Banister; Sister, Donna (Skip) Childress; Brothers, Charles Micheal (Jho) Mayes, Curt Deppert; 10 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by Mother, Betty M Deppert; Father, Thurman Mayes; Brothers, Alan (Badeye) Mayes and Chester Deppert Jr, and Sister, Kimberly Mayes.

Cheryl's hobbies included arts & crafts, ceramics, painting and drawing.

Service will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 3:00pm at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock Chapel, 2310 West Washington Street. Indianapolis, IN 46222 with a visitation from 1:00pm to the time of the service at the mortuary. Officiating the service will be Reverend Danny Thomas.
