Charles "Charley" "Chuck" Franklin Latta

Charles Franklin Latta, 67, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 23, 2019.  He was born on April 12, 1952 in Rensselaer, IN, son of Clarence Latta Sr. and Pearl (Cox) Latta.  Survivors include sisters, Janet Spurlock and Elouise Perry; brother, Scott Latta; 14 children and 22 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Stacy Latta-Zimmerman; and a brother, Clarence Latta Jr.  

Charles graduated from South Newton High School in Kentland, Indiana.  He served in the United States Marines and was also a Manager of a Pizza Hut. He loved his dogs very much. Charles loved life and people.  He accepted people for who they were and also would be there to help anyone in need.  There isn't anyone that we have spoken with who hasn't said that their last words to and from Charles were "I love you".

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.  I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more. I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.  I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.  I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.  I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.  I wish enough "Hello's" to get you through the final "Good-bye". 

A Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock Chapel, 2310 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana  46222. There will be a Graveside Service at Goodland Cemetery, Goodland Indiana at 3:30pm.
