Carl Henry Hammons, 93, of Fountaintown, IN passed away November 13, 2020. He was born in Dickenson County, Virginia, a son of the late Delsie (Stallard) and Ballard Hammons. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Hammons; sons, Robert (Donna) Hammons, Wayne (Renee) Hammons; daughters, Debisu Rodgers, Danielle Victoria (Jeremiah) Riggen; brothers, Bobby (Ada) Hammons, Norman (Carol) Hammons, Bernis Hammons; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Blanch Patton.
Carl served in the United States Army from 1946-1954. He was a veteran of the Korean War and WW II. He took a trip with the Indy Honor Flight in 2018. Carl was a sheriff’s deputy for Fayette County, IN and he was also a Mason.
Carl loved bluegrass music and raising cattle.

Masks will be required for visitation and service.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 with visitation from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and the service at 5:00 p.m. at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 W US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130. Officiating will be Pastor Bobby Jewell Jr.
