Obituary

A. Lavonne Lamb, 84, passed away on June 12, 2023 in Franklin, IN. She was born on September 6, 1938 in Stewart County, TN.

Survivors include husband, Jerry Lamb; son, Phillip (Kimberly) Lamb; daughter, Pamela (Herschel) Peoples; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents, James & Lillie (Graves) Cline; sister Eunice Borders.

Lavonne had worked as an assembly line worker and realtor  for Carpenter Co. BH+G Realtor until she retired in 1990. She was a longtime member of B.S.F. and other bible study groups and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Service will be on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 12:00PM at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 W US HWY 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of service at the mortuary. Officiating will be Pastor Gary Johnson. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association
