William C. Smith

William C. Smith, 83, of Greenfield, IN passed away May 28th 2020. Bill was born in Norwood, Ohio on February16, 1937 and was one of five siblings. Bill married the love of his life, Carol Jean (Sander) Smith in 1960. Along with their three children, Bill and Carol moved to Indianapolis in 1965. They were married 50 years until her passing. Bill had the gift of gab and never met a stranger. He was a natural salesman, owning two businesses during his life. Bill loved traveling, telling stories, as he was the family historian, and spending time with his family and friends.

Along with family members and many friends, Bill will be dearly missed by his three children, Melissa (John) Eastes, Melinda (Jeff) Smith, Craig (Heidi) Smith; his five grandchildren, Amber Spencer, Sarah Eastes, Cameron, Graciana, and Elliot Smith; his "one and only" great granddaughter, Lilly; and his very, very dear friend Sue.

There will be no services at this time, but please consider making a memorial donation to St. Jude Hospital as dad was a lifelong sponsor.
