William Lawrence Kidwell 90, of Morristown, IN passed away July 19, 2010. He was born December 22, 1919 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Goldie and Arthur Kidwell. William served in the U.S. Army, First Division, from 1941-1945. He was promoted to Lieutenant, receiving a Battfield Commission. He served in WWII campaigns in North Africa, Sicily, D-Day, Omaha Beach, and the Battle of the Bulge. He received the Bronze and Silver Stars for his service. He worked in Support Services and Engineering at Indiana Bell, where he retired. He was a 56 year member of the Masonic Lodge, a 52 year member of the Scottish Rite, and a 50 year member of the Shriners. He was also a member of the Mini-Mystics and was s Scottish Rites Tour Guide. Survivors include his wife, OlgaLawrenceKidwell; step-son, ErikTrishaAnderson; four sisters and two brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
