William Raymond Johns

William (Billy) Raymond Johns, 58, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on July 1, 2025. He was born on September 26, 1966, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Billy is survived by his wife, Ruth Johns, and his children: Mariah (Montae) Garth, Seth (Shayna) Johns, and Gracie Johns. Billy was a grandfather to 5 grandchildren. He is survived by his siblings: Donna Rich, DeAnna (Guy) Drapeau, Chad (Tabitha) Hancock.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Johns and Judith Hancock, as well as his sibling: Brian Johns and son: Mathew Johns.

Billy proudly served in the U.S. Army Ranger Division. After his military service, Billy dived into parenthood and left the services to be a present Father. Billy spent the early years of his life North Carolina before moving to Indiana. He worked as a Plumber and was well known by almost all the plumbing companies in central Indiana. He loved spending time with his family and friends, he enjoyed cooking out on the grill and sharing a hearty meal with his family the most. Billy enjoyed sports and coached little league football while his son (Seth) played. Billy impacted many lives during this time.

Funeral services will be held on August 22 at 1:00pm at Crown Hill Cemetery Annex.
