Wayne Francis Smoot , 77, New Palestine, IN passed away on October 10, 2023 in New Palestine, IN. He was born on May 2, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN.
Survivors include daughter, Nikki (Jamie) (Smoot) Leslie; brother, Dennis (Cindy) A. Smoot; grandchild, Logan W. Smoot; ex-wife, Rebecca Smoot; several nieces, nephews & cousins.
Preceded in death by parents, Arthur & Eileen (Swan) Smoot; brothers, Robert (Bob) S. Cavin, Arthur (Reece) M. Smoot & Steven (Mike) M. Smoot; sisters, Arthena (Tina) (Bill) Presslor & Carol Thomas.
Wayne served in US Army as a cook for two years. He loved Corvettes, golf and was very patriotic.
