Wayne Gordon Groves

Wayne Gordon Groves , 78, of Indianapolis passed away February 1, 2018. He was born August 9, 1939 in Portland, TN to parents Bessie L. (Searcy) and Jesse L. Groves. Survivors include: wife, Edith P. Groves; sons, Danny L. (Roberta) Groves of Whiteland, IN and Carl D. (Dave) (Phyllis) Groves of Indianapolis; daughter, Peggy J. (Lloyd) Phelps of Somerset, KY; many grandchildren great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents; father-in-law, John Andrews; mother-in-law, Nellie Andrews; brothers, Herbert, Hylas, Harold and Gary.

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 W US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the mortuary. Officiating will be Pastor Carl Coffey. Burial will be at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown, IN.
