Warren " Troy" Scoggan 45 of Fillmore, Indiana died Dec.26, 2010. He was born Feb.9, 1965, and resided in California the past 31 years. He graduated since Sonora High School and Fullerton College, CA and attended new Horizons Computer School for a year. He was employed by Harland Inc., a check printing company in Yorba Linda for several years. Troy enjoyed computers, reading, futuristic science, but his passion was chess. He played several times a month with chess friends or at libraries and community centers. He belonged to the LaHabra chess club and was a member of USCF for over 25 years. His beloved mother Bonita Cravens of Fillmore survives him, IN to cherish his memories, his father Gene Scoggan of Deltona, Florida, his 89-year-old maternal grandmother Bertha Quintero of Milton, WA. He'll be missed by two brothers Curtis Scoggan of IN, Darren Scoggan of CA. and two sister-in-law's Nurcahya and Dawn, also a half brother Brian Scoggan and sister-in-law Michelle of IN. He is survived by a great Aunt Betty and Uncle Vernon Genseke of Ill. And 13 caring aunts and uncles: Lanny and Patricia Hawkinson CA. Felix Fred and Mary Ann Kobera MI. Lori Hancock WA. Al and Marcia Chingman MI. Michel and Linda LaCombe' FL. Tom and Sandra Evans MI. Sharon Harper Iowa Diane Runge AZ He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, first and second cousins and distant relatives. A memorial to honor Troy's life is being planned by his loving family for Feb. 13th, 2011 at The Community Presbyterian Church of LaMirada.
