Walter Price VonHoven, Jr., 95 of Indianapolis, passed away March 26, 2012 . He is survived by his wife; Margaret VonHoven, daughters; Nora J. (Michael) Lee, Gretchen V. Liechty and Charlotte H. Leis, son; W. Eric VonHoven, grandchildren; Sean Liechty, Kristen (Karl) Bedwell, Heather (Brian) Goers, Kyle Leis, Ryan Lee and Kacie Leis, great-granddaughter; Kay Leis, nephew; John Deris, niece; Kathy Andre. He is preceeded in death by his son-in-law; Kurt Leis.
He served in the U.S. Army as a combat engineer in the South Pacific during W.W. II. He was a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans and worked for the YMCA for over 25 years.
Dinner will be held with the family after Memorial Service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Church or Vista Care Hospice.
