Walter Leslie Allen, 67 of Indianapolis passed away Monday, April 9, 2012. He was a member of Westside Apostolic Church of Indianapolis. He is preceeded in death by his parents, Herbert and Florence (Anderson) Allen. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn S. Allen; daughters, Autumn, Alexis and Alisha Allen; stepdaughter, Brenda(Mike) Knapp; stepson, James Adams all from Indianapolis; sisters, Gwendolyn Allen and Dorothy Duvall of Galesburg, IL, brothers, Herbert and Gordon Allen of Galesburg, IL; grandson, Charles Knapp and many nieces and nephews. Walter was a foster parent of many children at Allen's Foster Home.
