Vincent "Chip" Lapenta , 80, Indianapolis, IN passed away November 26, 2024, Indianapolis, IN. He was born on July 22, 1944, in Indianapolis, IN.

Survivors included Wife, Sue Ann Lapenta; Son, Rick (Kara) Lapenta, and John Lapenta; Daughter, Amy (Brent) Hofer, and Elizabeth Lapenta; Sisters, Sue Lemcke and Cay Fox. He had 9 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. He is preceded in death by parents Biagio and Majorie Lapenta, Brother-in-laws George Lemcke and Mike Fox.

He was self-employed and worked in auto parts sales. He also enjoyed fishing, knife making, splitting firewood, going to the casino and going to Canada with friends for 50 years. He also liked to tell jokes and always had funny sayings and loved wearing overalls.

Celebration of Life Service will be on December 4, 2024 at 5:00PM at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 W US HWY 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130 with a Memorial Gathering from 3:00PM until the time of service. Officiating the service will be Rev. Danny Thomas.
