Vincent, 69 of Indianapolis passed away September 22, 2010. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on March 5, 1941, Vincent was the third child of Thomas and ClaraJanacaroAngotti. He attended St. Theresa Grade School and graduated in 1958 from Bishop Hogan High School. He loved the theater and earned degrees at St. Louis UniversityBS 1962, and the University of Kansas MA 1965; PhD 1967. For the next 35 years he was a teacher/administrator holding positions at Florida State University, the University of South Dakota, Auburn University and the University of Evansville. He served his profession holding leadership positions in the American Theater Association, the University and College Theater Association, The Association for Theater in Higher Education, The Kennedy Center/American College Theater Festival, the Mid-America Theater Association and the International Council of Fine Arts Deans. Vincent loved to travel, drink fine wine and eat good food. He enjoyed riding his bicycle, and was an avid birder and made the world's best chocolate chip cookies. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Joseph and Tom Jr. all of Independence, MO. He is survived by his wife "Precious" PatriciaWilliam Angotti of Indianapolis, sister; Christine AngottiHoffman of Shawnee Mission, Kansas, his dear friend and caregiver, Bruce Webb of Indianapolis, and an overwhelming number of nieces and nephews. Vincent was a victim of Parkinson's disease complicated by Lewy Body Dementia. In hope that theses terrible diseases can be cured he donated his brain to Indiana University for research purposes. On a beautiful day, Vincent's ashes will be spread among the wildflowers. Memorial donations may be directed to the Nature Conservancy in Indiana. Online condolences may be sent to ts@evansville.edu
