Tonja passed away peacefully on January 25, 2011. She was born October 29, 1970. Tonja was a fun-loving person and loved her two boys very much. She had suffered for many years from different types of illnesses, finally suffering from an aneurysm that took her life. She graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1989 and later went to work for DAMAR where she enjoyed working with the handicapped. Tonja leaves behind two sons, Brett Parrish, a senior at Decatur Central High School and Brendan Parrish, an eight grader at Decatur Middle School; her parents, Joan and Larry Parsley; a sister, Tammy Denson; a brother, Kelvin Denson and fiance, Terry Atwell; and many nieces and nephews.
