Thomas (Tom) Michael Mcmahon

Thomas Michael McMahon of Indianapolis passed away peacefully in his sleep Sunday, November 10. He was born on December 28, 1963  to Robert and Ruth (Shea) McMahon. Tom attended IPS school 68, Little Flower and graduated from Scecina Memorial High School in 1982. He then attended and graduated from Butler University with a degree in paralegal studies and Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Since 1990 Tom worked at the Marion Superior Court Probation department until his sudden death. Tom had a  love of animals and always had pets. His biggest love though was his family. He enjoyed vacationing and spending time with them at family functions and holidays. In 1990 Tom met Patsy Williams and they were married in 2011. Tom is survived by his spouse, Patsy Williams; her 4 grown children and their spouses: Joseph (Jennifer) O’Connor, Timothy  (Alison) O’Connor, Jeremiah (Jessica) O’Connor, and Annie (Noel) Bowers; 11 grandchildren. He leaves behind 5 brothers: Lawrence (Olivia) McMahon, Patrick (Becky) McMahon, Gerard (Anna) McMahon, Robert McMahon Jr., Jeffrey (Catherine) McMahon and his sister, Kelle (Tracy) Hall; 16 nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews. He is also preceded in is death by his parents, Ruth and Robert McMahon, and great nephew Jack McMahon Alumbaugh. In Lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Toms Charity FOCUS  Fellowship Of Catholic University Students or  Indiana Humane Society of Indianapolis. Visitation will be Monday, November 18th from 5:30 -7:30pm at St. Jude Catholic Church, 5353 McFarland Avenue, Indianapolis IN 46237. There will also be visitation Tuesday, November 19th from 9:00 am to 10:00 am  followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St Jude Catholic Church, 5353 McFarland Avenue, Indianapolis  IN 46237. Burial following the Mass at Calvary Cemetery, 435 W Troy Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46217.
