Theron Griffith, Jr. , 67 of New Palestine passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013. Theron was born on November 29, 1945 to the late Theron Griffith Sr and Dorthy Griffith in Greenfield, IN. He was employed at Strubbe Gravel. He enjoyed fishing, computer games, western movies and reading books. He is proceeded in death by his parents; son, Thomas E. Griffith; sisters; Susie Gibson, Anita Kae Copeland and brother, John Griffith. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce (Perry) Griffith of New Palestine, stepsons, Mike Pegan of Clermont, DeWayne Pegan of Greenfield; daughters, Kris Mattingly of New Palestine, Kelly Whitaker of Cumberland, Erin Griffith of Greenfield, Amy Barnes of Charlottsville, Christane Poe of Indianapolis and Donna Haste of New Palestine; brothers, Ray, David, Robert, Steve, Tim and Dennis Griffith; 19 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and his dog Toby.
