Theresa Margaret Oyler , devoted mother, grandmother & caregiver

Theresa M. Oyler, 76, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 6, 2015. Theresa was born April 16, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Eleanor and Bingham Howell.

In 1974 Theresa graduated with her nursing degree from Indiana University, Indianapolis and worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Methodist Hospital. Once retired from nursing, Theresa was part of raising and caring for a countless number of children and was a mother to so many. She was an avid reader, enjoyed classical music, sewing, gardening, crocheting and cooking.

She survives by 5 children, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 W. US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary Service at 6:30pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Friday, November 13, 2015 where Theresa was an active member, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 East 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219 with Father Juan Valdes Officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
