Thelma Jean Thompson (Jean) , beloved daughter, sister, and most honorary aunt, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2026, at the age of 70.

Jean will be remembered for her unique personality, her sense of independence, and the simple things that brought her joy. She loved her Coca-Cola, watching cable television, doing crossword puzzles, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, spending time with her great-great-nephew Remani, and enjoying her favorite foods from Chicago's Pizza and Taco Bell. These little things were simply part of who Jean was and are among the memories her loved ones will carry with them.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Eva Lynnie Saures and Tommy Thompson, as well as her brothers Ronald Lee Thompson, Bobby Thompson, and Mike Thompson, and her beloved twin sister, Welma Jane Thompson.

She leaves behind cherished nieces, including Brandy Thompson and Beth Thompson & Tania Thompson. along with her great-nieces, great-nephews, and many great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. such as One of the greatest joys in Jean's life was her great-niece, Reanna, whom she loved and adored dearly.

Though Jean is no longer with us, her memory will live on through the family she loved, the stories they share, and the little moments that made her uniquely Jean.

Rest peacefully, Jean.
