Teddea Dione (Pryor) Nichols, affectionately known as Dea, left her earthly body from her home in Macon, Georgia on Monday, February 3, 2025,  at the age of 39. Born October 4, 1985 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Dea was the cherished daughter of Ted and Loretta (LaFavers) Pryor. She attended Lawrence North and New Palestine High Schools where she made lifelong friends and memories.

Dea's life was filled with love and devotion. She met her husband, Ian Nichols, and together they moved to Georgia where they welcomed their precious daughter, Ianna Kay, into the world. Dea's heart overflowed with love for her family and friends. She was known as "Auntie Dea" to the little ones she adored, treating them as her own. Her love for children shone through in the tender care she provided.  She catered to everyone's needs, always offering a hug and an encouraging word at just the right moment.

A gifted artist, Dea shared her talent through beautiful drawings that brought joy to the children she loved, as well as her family and friends.Her way with words was unmatched and she had a unique ability to turn a phrase that could brighten anyone's day. Dea's presence brought light and happiness to those around her.

Dea was preceded in death by her husband Ian, her parents Ted and Loretta, her grandparents Charlene, Ted Sr, and Francis. She leaves behind her beloved daughter Ianna Nichols, "second daughter" Cecilia Johnson,  her brother Jacob Richmond (Jamie), sister Becky Weed (Adam), "adopted sisters" Ashley Waterman and Krystal Price (Vernon), many loving aunts and uncles, cherished nephews and nieces a great-nephew, cousins and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 1-5 PM at Grace Banquet Hall, 1555 E Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140 In lieu of flowers, donations to assist with funeral costs can be made by calling Bell Mortuary at 317-861-6153.

Dea's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
