Suzanne Snow Wilson

March 5, 1980 — January 27, 2025

Greentown

Suzanne Snow Wilson was born on March 1st, 1980, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Ronald Wilson and Peggy Abbott. Sadly, she was found deceased in Greentown, Indiana, on January 17th, 2025. She was divorced in 2008 from Freelin Lee Hartman, with four kids named Mitchell Lee Hartman, Christian Marion Hartman, Hermione Elizabeth Anne Hartman, and Jesse Allen James Hartman. She was a single mom for a few years before meeting Pete Miller, who helped raise her two younger children, Hermione and Jesse Hartman still with the help of Lee of course. She started her career in various accounting jobs while continuing to write her own short stories and a few books. She was loved by many, including her sister Angela VanBuskirk, her niece Ashley Smith, and many friends. She was always a light to be around and a very strong woman. The truth is, she was incredible; when she loved someone, she loved with everything she had. That incredible woman was my mother. My mom used to say, “Hermione, you’re a tree just like me. We're strong, and our roots keep us strong in the ground no matter what storms try to blow us down. We will always stand tall.” Not only I, but all of us will continue to stand tall for her. My mom truly loved my siblings, myself, and our dog Pippa Rose. She had faith, and I found myself believing in it after her passing. Just knowing she’s looking down on us leaves me at peace. She expressed herself through her writing and her art, both of which she was very good at. She truly was a spectacular woman and an even better mom. We love you, Mom. I hope you're proud of us. Say hi to papal for us okay?
