Steven Lee Neidlinger, 65, Poland, Indiana passed away on March 21, 2026 in Poland, Indiana. He was born on March 20, 1961 in Waynesville, Missouri.
Survivors include his wife Daphne M. Neidlinger-Holdcraft; sons Robert Neidlinger (Dawn Larison), Seth Klein; daughters Michelle Kessinger, Stephanie Neidlinger, Briana Neidlinger, Sarah Neidlinger; brothers William H Neidlinger III and James Neidlinger. He also leaves behind six grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William H Neidlinger Sr. and Marie F. John as well as his son Stefan Lee Neidlinger.
Steven served in the National Guard and enjoyed being an Auto Mechanic as his life long career. Steven also known as Creeper was a remarkable individual and true genius in the field of mechanics. His deep understanding of mechanical principles and his innovative approach allowed him to solve complex problems. Despite his extraordinary abilities, he remained humble and grounded. Steven is a beloved father, brother and friend. He loved his children, his animals and all of his friends. He will surely be missed by all who loved him dearly.
A gathering to celebrate the life of Steven will be held on Thursday, March 26th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Bell Mortuary and Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock Chapel, 2310 W. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46222.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help Steven's children would be deeply appreciated. A Go Fund Me page has been set up by Sheina Kirby or donations can be made directly to the funeral home.
