Survivors include, mother, Shannon (Troy Wilson) Smith; girlfriend, McKayla Cox; daughter, Samia Kalizah Edel Campos Edwards; sisters, Shalona Smith, Shaleyah Edwards; brother, Jeremiah (Karigan Land) Smith; Grandmothers, Shirley Flewelling & Gertrude Britt; nieces, Kailani & Kaiyah; nephew, Darrious; 7 aunts, 1 uncle & 17 cousins.
Preceded in death by, father, Steven Smith Jr.; grandfathers, Steven Smith & Scott Flewelling; aunt, Anita Stewart.
Isaiah was a graduate of Franklin Central H.S where he played football and wrestling. He was the founder of the "Original Boom Squad" for the FCHS wrestling team as well as founder of the "QB Demolition Squad" for the FCHS football team. His greatest achievement was his daughter Samia. Isaiah loved constructing and putting things together, he loved working with his hands and learning new things. He was really intelligent and loved to prove it. He enjoyed having deep intellectual conversations or disagreements. He really loved his sweets; Isaiah could eat more candy and cookies than anyone else. He also loved fishing and boating and painting with his nephew Nugget. He was very humorous and loved to make people laugh.
Service will be on September 14, 2024 at 2:00PM at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock, 2310 W Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46222 with visitation from 12:00pm until the time of service at the mortuary. Celebration of life will follow at a to be determined location.
