Shirley M. Walker Ewing

Shirley is survived by: children , KathyChrisWinks of Seattle, JohnChristy , and SallyMichael Delp; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Alice. She was a graduate of Washington High School, then worked for Westinghouse. She devoted her life to raising three children with John Ewing and served as a secretary for Speedway Christian Church for 30 years, retiring in 2000. She loved her family. She loved music, movies, and television. She knew a song for nearly every occasion and enjoyed singing harmony as a tenor in the church choir. Even to the last, she had a wonderful sense of humor, a sharp memory for song lyrics, people's names, and a special gift for bringing comfort and encouragement to others. Contributions can be made in her honor to the Memorial Fund at Speedway Christian Church.
