Shirley A. (Gosbin) Sutherland

Shirley A. (Gosbin) Sutherland, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away November 23, 2013. She was born on October 24, 1931 in South Bend, IN to the late James Earl and Ethel May Gosbin.

She is proceeded in death by her parents and brothers, Jack and Earl Gosbin.

Shirley was a wonderful Mother of four and she loved her family dearly. Every Holiday her only gift that she would want was to have her entire family together for a meal to celebrate life, and to remind us that family is what is most important. She always found a place in her heart for others and she was always collecting Angels. She will be missed dearly she has always been the glue that held our family together. But we take comfort in knowing that she is now seated on the throne in Heaven with Jesus, laughing, smiling and of course watching over her family that she loves so much. Shirley, you will be missed greatly but we all take comfort in knowing you are in Heaven reunited with the rest of your family singing and dancing.

Shirley is survived by her husband, George Sutherland; children, Sherry, Terry, Jay and Robin; grandchildren, Shannon, Jackie, Nina, David, Bethany, Jordan, Jayman, Jazmine, Brittany and Nicholas; great grandchildren, Scotty, Albanie, Anthony, Coda, Tyler and Logan; son-in-laws, Jack  and Dean; daughter-in-law, Crystal and Linda; step daughters, Marie and Cindy; nephew, David; niece, Holly; step-grandchildren, Jasmine and Amber; step-great grandchildren, Cassidy, AJ and Dustin and her pets, Daizy Mae, Spike-A-Roo and Tiger.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 6-10pm at Canterbury Clubhouse, 6505 Tanner Drive, Indianapolis, IN.
