Sharlene (Stepp) Emily

Sharlene (Stepp) Allen Emily, 82, of New Palestine, IN passed on to be with the Lord on September 15, 2020 at home. She was born September 20, 1937 in Mohawk, West Virginia. Sharlene was a hair dresser in New Palestine for 45 years and a licensed Cosmetology Instructor for 15 years.

She enjoyed spending time with her sisters, family and friends. She also enjoyed bingo, crocheting, bowling and softball.

Sharlene was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Margaret Stepp; five sisters; three brothers; and a son, Andy Hobart Allen.

Those left to remember her include husband, John Emily; children, George (Nina) Allen of New Palestine, Teresa (Kenny) Waldron of Virginia, and Fritzie (David) Beikman of Arkansas; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Millie Blankenship of West Virginia, Lucille Collins of Virginia; brother, Harvey Stepp of West Virginia.

Sharlene would like her cremains returned to the Stepp Family Cemetery in Mohawk, West Virginia where there will be a graveside service on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 2:00pm

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 4:00 to 5:30pm  with a service at 5:30 at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 West US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130. Officiating will be Chaplain Katherine Murray.
