Russell Wade Durbin

Russell Wade Durbin , 62, Born April 13,1961 in Indianapolis, IN. Passed on March 12. He was preceded in death by parents Irvin and Versie Durbin and grandson, Liam Hurst.

Survived by daughters Misty(Jay),Christy(Brett), and Ammie (Sebastian), siblings Barry(Paula), Brenda(Blaine) Brian (Patty), Mark (Denise) many nieces and nephews ,grandchildren Gabby, Hailey, Timmy, Kirstin, Cynthia, Klaudia, and Parker and 9 great grandchildren.

Over the years his caregivers Chelsea (niece), Lynda, Lilly, Joy, and Sharon became family too. Russ loved music. He was a funny, witty guy. He loved wildlife , especially his friendly rival the squirrel. Unbeknownst to us,  he wanted his obituary to include “He was a wild and crazy guy”.  Which gave us a well needed final laugh from him. We would like to add he had the kindest heart and was loved by all who met him. He will be sorely missed.

Visitation will be at Bell Mortuary Friday 3/15 at 5pm with short service to follow at 7pm. We will also be having a Celebration of Life at Grace Baptist Church 740 W County Line Rd Indianapolis,IN 46217 April 27 -open house starting at 2pm.
