Robert Perry Musser, 84, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on June 19, 2026, in Greenfield, Indiana. Born on October 24, 1941, in Dayton, Ohio, Robert lived a life marked by devotion, service, hard work, and a remarkable sense of humor that endeared him to all who knew him.

Robert is survived by his wife Patricia Musser; his daughters, Kimberly (Joseph) Overton and April (Robert) Young; his granddaughters, Hannah Overton, Faith Overton, and Autumn Young; and his sisters, Janet Emery and Joan Duncan. Each of them carries forward his memory, guided by the warmth, wisdom, and heartfelt laughter that defined his life.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Margaret Musser; his brothers Gene, Donald, and James Musser and  his sisters Juanita McPeak, Shirley Craig and June Musser.

A man of deep commitment to his craft, Robert completed a five-year Plumbers and Steam Fitters Apprenticeship, laying the foundation for a respected career in skilled trades. He was a proud member of Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local 661 and Local 499 and brought skill, diligence, and integrity to his work, whether as part of Local 661 Plumbers and Steam Fitter or the General Motors Skilled Trades. Robert’s dedication was evident, and his professional journey left a lasting legacy in the communities he served.

Service to his country was another pillar of Robert's life, as he honorably served in the Army Airborne Division. Among his proudest achievements was his time with the esteemed 101st Airborne Division, a chapter that filled him with great pride and exemplified his courageous spirit.

Outside of his work and military service, Robert found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. He cherished time spent fishing, hunting for treasures at garage sales, tending his garden, and breathing new life into old items through creative repurposing. His hobbies reflected his ingenuity and his appreciation for both nature and the art of transformation.

To those who knew him, Robert will be remembered as loving, loyal, and quite the character—a man who left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to a neighbor, give steadfast support to his family, or brighten someone’s day with his unforgettable sense of humor.

Robert Perry Musser’s story is one of love, service, and deep-rooted values. He will be dearly missed, forever cherished, and never forgotten by all who had the privilege to know and love him.
