Robert David Allen
July 29, 1942 — June 25, 2016
Robert "Bobby" D. Allen, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away June 28, 2016. He is preceded in death by Linda Allen. Bobby was in the US Army, a member of the American Legion and Rookie of the Year in the USAC National Midget Series. He is survived by his wife Nancy Allen; sons, Kirt Gardner and Dennis Gardner (Lisa); daughters, Debbie Melton (Keith) and Tiki Twiehaus (Tom); stepdaughter, Casey Meers, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, July 16, 2016, at the American Legion Post #155 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in Carmel, IN.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Research Hospital. Arrangements handled by Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel.
