Richard P. “Rick” Breitenbach, 66, left this big round ball peacefully Monday morning, surrounded by his wife and children. Rick was loved dearly by his wife, Jackie, son, Rusty (Angelina), daughter, Courtney (Adam) McQueen, grandchildren, Fiona, Oliver, Grayson, and Emersyn, sister, Kathy Tuggle, nieces Jamie and Amanda, and many loyal and caring family, friends, and fellow firefighters.
Rick was the former owner of Gateway Sheet Metal and had been a self-proclaimed “tin knocker” most of his life. Rick was also a dedicated volunteer firefighter and first responder for many years. If the position ever became available, Rick would have chosen to become a professional “Parrothead. ”
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Webster Township Fire Department on Saturday, September 16th from 12 to 3 (casual or tropical attire acceptable). If there was ever a relaxed, good time to be had, Rick was a part of it. And so we hope you can stop in, sit a spell, share a story, and leave feeling the love that Rick showed to so many.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the Webster Township Fire Department, P.O. Box 4, Webster, IN 47392.
Arrangements are being handled by Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock Chapel, 2310 W Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222.
