He was employed at Salem Courthouse and formerly worked at the International Village. Mr Phillips served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Workman. Survivors include wife, Rhonda Phillips; son Jeremiah Delk; daughter; Electra Delk; step-daughters; Sarah Doug Eversole and Samantha David Gillespie; sister; Karen Brown, grandchildren; Sabrina and Lucas Eversole and Cole, Jake, and Allyson Gillespie. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
