Survivors include his sons Jason D. Wales and Jared A. Wales; half siblings, Michael V. (Suzanne) White, Charles White, Joann Wales; grandchildren, Daniella C. Wales and Dyllon A. Wales. Also numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents Donald K. Wales and Ethel Mae (Thompson) White, step-father, Charles Verlin White and brothers Greg White, Donald Wales and Charles D. White.
